Ore 09,00 Partenza da Levanto con pullman G.T.
Ore 10,00 Arrivo a Varese Ligure e visita guidata del paese: si potranno ammirare le sale del Castello dei Fieschi risalente al periodo medioevale e perfettamente conservato, il circostante Borgo Rotondo denominato in tal modo per la sua forma ellittica, caratterizzato da un insieme di colorati edifici a formare una sorta di fortezza. La Chiesa parrocchiale di San Giovanni Battista risalente alla metà del XVII secolo con i suoi undici altari e i meravigliosi affreschi, la Chiesa di San Filippo Neri che fu la cappella del monastero di clausura, l’Oratorio dei Santi Antonio e Rocco anch’esso in stile barocco che conserva al suo interno decorazioni, affreschi e ornamenti religiosi, la Torre Civica, il quartiere di Grexino con il caratteristico ponte risalente al 1500 e le tipiche case in pietra.
Tempo libero a disposizione per un giro nei caratteristici negozietti.
Ore 12,45 Pranzo a buffet nel suggestivo Castello dei Fieschi: un viaggio immersi in un’altra epoca accompagnati dai sapori unici del menù tipico a base di prodotti Bio.
Ore 14,00 Visita alla Coop Casearia Val di Vara, prima cooperativa in Liguria ad ottenere la certificazione biologica, dove viene trasformato il latte proveniente dalle aziende della valle. Visita dell’impianto e degustazione di formaggi tipici.
Ore 15,15 Partenza per Sesta Godano visita del borgo con guida locale
Ore 17,45 Partenza per il rientro a Levanto previsto per le ore 18,30 circa

Culture and the Organic Tastes of the Val di Vara, Varese Ligure and Sesta Godano
Departing at 9am from Levanto.
Arriving at 10am at Varese Ligure for a guided tour of the village you can admire:-
the rooms of the perfectly preserved Castello dei Fieschi which dates back to the medieval period.
The surrounding fortified village (Borgo Rotonda) , these villages are usually round and the houses form part of the defensive walls, dominated in such a way by its elliptical form, characterised by its uniform coloured buildings that form a type of fortress.
The parish church San Giovanni Battista (Saint John the Baptist) that dates back to the middle of the 17th century with its 11 alters and marvellous frescos.
San Filippo Neri church (St Philip) that was the chapel of a closed order monastery
The Oratory of San Antonio e Rocco is also in the Baroque style and still has its preserved internal decoration, frescos and religious ornaments.
The Torre Civica (the Civic Tower) and the Grexino quarter with its characteristic bridge that dates back to the 1500s and the typical stone houses.
Following the tour, there will be free time to peruse the characteristic little shops.
At 12.45pm a buffet lunch will be served at the Castello dei Fieschi, a trip immersed in another age, accompanied by the unique taste of a typical local menu produced using local organic products.
At 2pm visit the Coop Casearia Val di Vara, the first cooperative in Liguria to obtain its organic certificate, where the milk from these valleys is transformed into traditional dairy products, following the tour there will be a Cheese tasting.
At 3.15pm depart for Sesta Godano to tour the village with a local guide.
At 5.45pm the coach leaves to return to Levanto, expected at around 6.30pm.
